T5 adapter with T5 Tube
Did you know, in a typical building, lighting can account for most electrical consumption?
Most buildings have inefficient fluorescent lighting. These older fittings are called T8 and typically use over 50% more energy than the new T5 system. T5 tubes provide more light and last up to 3 times longer than their predecessor.
Unfortunately, the new T5 tubes do not fit into existing fittings as they are shorter in length. The only option until now was to replace the entire fitting. This is expensive and causes a lot of disruption.
Our solution is the T5 adapter. This unit simply mounts into the existing fitting together with a T5 tube.
T5 technology runs at high frequency, this reduces eye strain and provides more natural day light output.
The adapters are specially designed to ‘instant start’ so they can be used in conjunction with occupancy
sensors (PIR) to further reduce energy costs.
Return on investment can be as low as six months
We will visit your site and fit a sample for your approval

Download a copy of our excel calculation sheet to let you know what saving are achievable. Just fill in the kW costs, hours used, cost of adapter and select if the existing T8 is electronic or ballast start (ballast start have the small cylindrical starter mounted in the fitting.). The results are indicative, but we will guarantee savings after a site visit
